The Vanadis Software Department is responsible for the main software components of the Vanadis® NIPT System as well as future products on the same platform. The department delivers new product versions to ongoing global R&D development projects.
The role
The Vanadis® NIPT System includes software for controlling workflow, samples, and results. You will participate in the further development of workflows, sample tracking, analysis algorithms and user interfaces. Join a team of five dedicated engineers that work with design, implementation, test, and documentation of new functionality of this modern and technically advanced software. We have daily stand-ups, work in Jira, code review, labs available for testing, Slack used for internal communication. The software is updated daily, and product release are performed with ½ - 1½ years of intervals. Outside the team you will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as System Testing, Business, Application Engineers, and our colleagues within PerkinElmer in Åbo.

Qualifications
- An academic degree in physics, computer science or electronics or equivalent
- At least 3 years working experience in software development
- Experience in Test driven development, Hibernate, Spring, Bootstrap, and JQuery
- Excellent skills in oral and written English, Swedish is a plus
- You must have a Swedish work permit and be resident in the wider Stockholm area
It is an advantage if you have experience:
- of Maven, Git, Junit, Log4J, REST, and JSON
- experience from ISO 13485, ISO 62304 or ISTQB-certification
- from developing medical device products
